| Sportsmetrics™
Program |
| Sportsmetrics™
has identified many of the problems that cause injuries
in female athletes. Although there is no absolute prevention
program for ACL injury, finally there is something you
can do. Physicians spent 10 years developing Sportsmetrics™.
No other program has this kind of research behind it. |
| Sportsmetrics™
is a program that combines general conditioning and instruction
on proper jumping and landing mechanics, in an effort
to help athletes avoid "high risk" situations. |
| Dynamic Warm-Up |
| The dynamic warm-up
includes functional based activities using sport
specific motions in order to prepare the body for
activity. Its purpose is to raise core body temperature,
increase blood flow to muscles and improve flexibility,
balance and coordination. |
 |
|
| Plyometric
Training |
| Plyometrics,
the core of Sportsmetrics™, are used to focus
on correct jumping technique. This develops muscular
speed by teaching a muscle to efficiently exert
its maximal force. Plyometric training is proven
to improve vertical jump height and is an essential
tool to increase speed and power on the court and
on the field. |

|
| High
Intensity Strength Training |
| The
athletic development strength program uses periodization
and is individualized for athletes, allowing for
the greatest benefits when combined with plyometric
and flexibility training. Organized progressions
teach high intensity strength training fundamentals
to maximize strength gains. |

|
| Flexibility
Training |
| Sportsmetrics™
trainers identify flexibility needs and work with
athletes to improve crucial range of motion to further
enhance agility and decrease risk of injury. |
